Free shows in Québec City this summer!

For the fifth and final year, Québec City will offer 2 free shows:  the Image Mill and the Cirque du Soleil.

In collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), the last edition of The Image Mill projection show, beginning in summer 2013, will take the form of a tribute to filmmaker Norman McLaren.  Over his long career, Norman McLaren received an impressive number of awards, including an Oscar for Neighbours and a Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival for Blinkity Blank. He holds an unparalleled place in the history of world cinema.  McLaren died in 1987.

The Harbor of Lost Souls – the fifth chapter of the Les Chemins invisibles™ event created by Cirque du Soleil®– combines circus arts and the tradition of storytelling in the signature Cirque du Soleil style.  And for this final representation, the event is relocated to the Agora of the Old Port.

New for this year – you can attend both events in a single night.  Shows take place from June 23rd to September 1st, Tuesday through Saturday evening.
